INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR ADULTS

Individual Therapy
in Austin & Across Texas

At times, the issue is clear and easy to identify. For some people, there is an ongoing feeling that something is not quite right.

A pattern that keeps showing up, a stress level that won’t come down, a version of yourself you’re not connecting with anymore. Therapy is a place to figure that out and get support to do something about it.

I offer individual psychotherapy for adults navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and self-confidence challenges. I help my clients create a way forward with personal growth.

WHO I WORK WITH

Therapy for Adults Seeking Clarity, Support, and Change

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes there’s an obvious trigger like a major life change, a relationship that’s shifted, a loss. Sometimes it’s more cumulative. Stress that’s been building for years. A sense of disconnection. Familiar patterns that feel hard to break even when you can see them clearly.

Whatever brought you here, the way I practice therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and make the changes that can really help.

Space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening
Support for real, lasting change — not just insight
A warm, non-judgmental environment to be yourself
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

Individual Therapy May Be Helpful If You Are:

You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out.

Major Life Transitions

Moving through a major life transition — career, relationship, identity, or loss.

Emotional Weight

Carrying more emotional weight than feels sustainable.

Self-Trust & Confidence

Struggling with self-trust or confidence in ways that affect daily life.

Stuck Patterns

You may notice patterns in your behavior but find it difficult to change on your own.

Anxiety & Overwhelm

Wanting to feel less overwhelmed and more at ease.

Deeper Support

Wanting support that goes deeper than venting — something that actually moves things.

My Approach

A Thoughtful, Relational,
and Practical Approach

I’m warm and direct in equal measure, curious about what’s happening beneath the surface. The work we do together should connect and make a difference in your daily life -how you feel and show up for yourself.

I adapt to each person. Some clients want more structure; others need space to think out loud. Some are processing something specific; others are trying to understand a pattern that’s been with them for years.

Warm & Direct

Genuine connection without losing clarity or focus.

Beneath the Surface

Curious about what drives the patterns, not just the patterns themselves.

Adaptive

Structured or open-ended — I follow your lead and adjust as we go.

Practical

What we work on should show up differently in your actual life.

CLINICAL FRAMEWORK

Modalities That Support the Work

Depending on what a person brings and what’s most useful, I draw from Somatic Experiencing™, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment-focused therapy. These approaches support a deeper understanding of yourself, better stress regulation, and change that integrates into everyday life; not just insight that stays in the room.

Somatic Experiencing

A body-oriented approach that helps resolve the physical and emotional effects of stress and trauma, building resilience from the inside out.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Helps you clarify what matters to you and build the psychological flexibility to act on it — even in the face of difficult thoughts and feelings.

Attachment-Focused Therapy

Explores how early relational patterns shape the way you connect with yourself and others — and how those patterns can change.

SLEEP & THERAPY

When Sleep and
Therapy Overlap

For some people, disrupted sleep is part of a larger emotional picture, anxiety, stress, and poor sleep feeding each other in ways that make each one harder to address on its own. For others, insomnia is the primary issue and CBT-I is the clearer starting point. Because I offer both, I can help you decide where to begin.
